The company has recently completed a Series A investment led by Sallyport Holdings, who have billions of dollars worth of exits under their belt, and are actively involved, young, and ready to support high-growth technology companies like EngoPlanet. You’ll be standing shoulder to shoulder with industry makers and company builders.
Position
EnGoPlanet is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Manager to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and effective management of production processes, product assembly, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day production of our clean energy products, manage inbound and outbound logistics, and ensure that quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards are met. This is a key opportunity to contribute to the operational success and growth of a pioneering company in the clean energy sector.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage the entire production process from project initiation to completion, ensuring that product assembly meets timeline and quality goals.
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, ensuring efficient use of time and resources while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement and manage quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes to ensure all products meet EnGoPlanet’s high standards for reliability and performance.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Coordinate with project managers and the engineering team to ensure smooth production workflows and resolve any issues that may arise during the production cycle.
- Track and report on production performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of components and materials for production, while minimizing overstock.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace standards, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Support strategic initiatives to improve production capabilities, scale operations, and introduce new production methodologies.
- Work closely with senior management to develop production schedules, forecasts, and budgets.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team to meet project deadlines and performance targets.
- Hands-on experience with production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities with efficiency.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using production management software and familiar with ERP systems (experience with Cin 7 ERP is a plus).
- Understanding of warehouse and logistics processes.
