Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our clients warehouse department by ensuring a smooth operation that meets production and aftermarket demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse leadership within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective warehouse management strategies to optimize locations and storage while ensuring product quality.
- Manage receiving, shipping, and production reporting for materials, as well as material handling operations.
- Oversee all personnel functions within the warehouse department.
- Monitor inventory accuracy to prevent shortages and assist in tracking production requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for tracking and historical purposes.
- Establish departmental KPIs to benchmark team performance and trends.
- Conduct oversight of all materials and ensure proper storage locations.
- Perform cycle counts and investigate variances to determine root causes.
- Collaborate with all departments to maintain inventory accuracy and control.
- Lead inventory audits and oversee the loading of finished goods.
- Manage Non-Conforming Materials (NCRs) by logging, tracking, and working with purchasing to resolve issues.
- Process RMAs and coordinate with various departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and the warehouse team, ensuring cross-training and collaboration.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in materials management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and supply chain processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP Software.
- Minimum of three years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing, and inventory control.
