Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Shift: DAY - FULL-TIME

Start: ASAP

Pay Rate: 70K-80K BASE + FULL Benefits Package

Job Description:

As a Senior System Analyst. In this role, you will assist the IT Lead in designing, supporting, maintaining, and evaluating our computer hardware and software infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the stability, efficiency, and security of our IT systems, which are crucial for our automotive manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Management: Maintain servers, desktop units, data backups, phone systems, and critical applications to ensure stable operation.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software, desktop, and network problems, devising effective business solutions.

• Deployment: Oversee hardware and software deployment, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.

• Network Maintenance: Ensure network, desktop, and phone system functionality, addressing and resolving outages promptly.

• Disaster Recovery: Assure the disaster recovery of information systems, maintaining business data links between software applications.

• User Account Management: Maintain user account information and perform security tasks as assigned.

• Software/Hardware Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of software and hardware usage, adding and maintaining network users.

• Installation and Upgrades: Install new software applications or hardware on the network, desktop, and mobile devices.

• License Management: Monitor and report licenses on applications, servers, and desktops.

• Security: Deploy and manage security intrusion protection and other equipment to ensure compliance, applying network and desktop patches.

• Improvement Recommendations: Recommend improvements in network structure, products, and processes.

• User Support: Communicate with and support users in developing and using necessary technological solutions, establishing and enforcing organizational standards.

Qualifications:

• Windows Server Environment: Excellent knowledge of Windows Server (2016 - 2022).

• Virtual Environments: Proficiency with Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware environments.

• MS Office Suite: Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite of products.

• Active Directory & Networking: Extensive experience with Active Directory, DHCP, WINS, DNS, and computer networking.

• Cisco Hardware: Excellent knowledge of Cisco hardware.

• Troubleshooting: Strong experience troubleshooting software and hardware on laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, and handheld devices.
