Marketing And Public Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in supporting and executing our communication strategies across our public relations and digital communication activities.


This individual will be responsible for drafting and maintaining consistent and effective communication across various channels, ensuring a positive and cohesive brand image that aligns with our brand’s long-term and overarching goals, and proactively assisting with the marketing team’s overall communications efforts.


Work closely with our Director of Public Relations to assist with the following:


1. Content Creation:

  • Draft engaging content for various platforms, including press releases, pitches, email newsletters, and website updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and messaging.


2. Media Relations:

  • Update all press materials immediately when new projects arise or shift
  • Assist with drafting and distributing approved press releases to relevant media contacts.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on our client projects and IMG as well as.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.


3. Event Coordination:

  • Assist the team in planning and executing events, conferences, and media briefings.
  • Coordinate media attendance and coverage for events.
  • Assist team in planning guest lists, creating event timelines, working with vendors, and event briefings.


4. Client Communications:

  • Set and schedule meetings for the marketing team with clients
  • Distribute client reports and updates on time as directed by the supervisor


5. Internal Communications:

  • Facilitate effective internal communication to ensure all team members are informed and aligned with organizational messaging and timelines.
  • Manage internal communication platforms and tools. (monday.com)
  • Assist team with meeting preparation such as agendas and townhall presentations


6. Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to enhance communication efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Canva, and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with design tools and/or basic graphic design skills are a plus.
