Leads projects designed to create and implement security architecture including systems, practices and procedures that ensure the safety of information assets and protect them from intentional or inadvertent access, modification, disclosure or destruction. Participates in development of overall business plans and security policy for organizational area ensuring that users' security needs are understood and risk is appropriately mitigated. Manages compliance with all security associated with the company, state, and federal rules and regulations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree or 2 years equivalent experience.
  2. 6 years systems security or equivalent experience required.
  3. Experience with Security Design, User Profile Setup, Role & Permission List Setup, Process Security, Query Security, Row Level Security, Portal Security, Security Migrations, Definition Security, Dynamic Role Creation and Query Tree Security
  4. Experience with NIST 800-171 control requirements
  5. Experience with IT Project Security Controls,

Strategic Planning

  1. Researches and obtains information on best practices and state-of-the-art innovations in regard to security architecture.
  2. Partners with users to review security architecture, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans and recommends changes and improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency and alignment with goals and strategic direction.

Administration

  1. Develops, implements and enforces information security practice and standards.
  2. Assists in translating regulatory & compliance issues into policies & procedures.
  3. Identifies & prioritizes opportunities for education and leads the design and development of appropriate messaging, communications and training.
  4. Prepares reports as required by management.
  5. Assists in management of departmental budget.

Development

  1. Leads teams in regard to development of security architecture; identifies & organizes resources required.
  2. Assists in development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans & activities.

Performance

  1. Leads security architecture investigations ensuring that they are appropriate and necessary approvals are obtained.
  2. Prepares and executes security assessments, analysis and remediation.
  3. Assists in the resolution of audit findings through analysis, problem determination and development of cost effective solutions.
  4. Provides assistance in the resolution of security incidents and prepares activity, progress and management reports as required.
