Interventional Cardiologist

Job Summary:
Lower Bucks Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to join our esteemed cardiology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on interventional procedures. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing cardiovascular diseases through both non-invasive and invasive methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and other catheter-based interventions.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Provide patient education regarding cardiovascular health and preventive measures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiology and interventional techniques through continuing medical education.
- Participate in hospital committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide on-call coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
- Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular diagnostics and interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

- Busy Independent, two-provider cardiology group
- Interventional Cardiology
- Call schedule – 1 in 4
- STEMI and Cardiology call together
- 3 Independent IC that supports the hospital
- General Cardiology Fellowship (6 slots) - starting 7/1/24
- Faculty Responsibility
- 2 Cath Labs at Lower Bucks Hospital. One has been newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment, and the other is scheduled for renovations later this year)
- Full-time position mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Position in Bristol and Philadelphia
