Come work with a woman and therapist run company Ampersand Therapy is seeking to elevate the employment experience of working in schools. We are hiring a Special Education teacher in North St. Paul, MN for the 24-25 school year.


Job Details:

  • Middle School Special Education Teacher (Multiple Needs) Position
  • Position is for the remainder of the 24-25 School Year, In-Person
  • Full time, 8 hours/day
  • Work with Special Education Team to implement accommodations, interventions, etc. according to student IEPs
  • Serve as a case manager for students by: developing and maintaining IEPs; facilitating IEP meetings
  • Create a welcoming, safe, meaningful environment for students with moderate to significant disabilities
  • Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and coordinate with school teams


Qualifications:

  • Valid MN teaching license in a special education field.
  • Experience teaching school-age students
  • Training and experience in behavior management and knowledge of crisis response
