The Sr Distribution Analyst is responsible for last mile distribution processes and oversight in existing and growth markets. The position will be instrumental in analyzing and interpreting data to improve supply chain efficiency, collaborating with teams to align strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring compliance, and providing decision support tools. This role will provide dedicated support to our restaurant and lead resolutions to restaurant distribution issues.

In addition to these core activities, they will assist in the management of network shortages, supply risk mitigation, allocations, vendor management and quality holds/recalls, as it pertains to last mile distribution functions.



Job Duties

The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our Company and Franchise operators, regarding distribution related issues, and proactively send notifications to the field when disruptions may occur
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop, track and report KPI’s to improve service defects, and ensure optimal compliance
  • Track store opening schedules and ensure our distribution partners are prepared to service new units
  • Create new DC onboarding plans and work with inventory teams to verify the correct product assortments are available
  • Work with the DC teams on delivery recoveries, late route improvement and order guide accuracy
  • Assist in the planning and execution of business reviews
  • Develop and implement delivery plans for holidays, scheduled outages, and disaster management
  • Conduct store visits and Distribution Center audits as needed
  • Send recurring reports to Support Center and field leaders regarding DC performance
  • Other responsibilities as assigned




Work Experience and Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar field
  • Must be familiar with distribution center operations, distribution methods, final mile delivery processes, distribution metrics/KPI’s, or similar experience
  • Proficiency in Supply Chain analytics
  • Proficient in usage of data warehouse tools (24TRACC or similar)
  • Understanding of transportation, warehousing processes, demand planning and project management terms and concepts
  • Comprehension of transportation and warehouse management systems, and related technologies
  • Minimum: 3-5 years, distribution operations, supply chain, logistics, product planning, analysis, or customer service
  • Preferred: 2-4 years with a restaurant brand
  • Preferred: Experience with food service industry customers
  • Preferred: Chain certifications not required, but nice to have (CSCP, CPSM, or similar), or Six Sigma training
