AST employs approximately 195 skilled professionals across multi-shift operations, ensuring efficiency, precision, and timely delivery for mission-critical industries.Position OverviewWe are seeking a versatile and experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems for industrial equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting uptime, safety, and reliability of production assets. The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional maintenance experience and be comfortable working with hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems, and heavy machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain both electrical and mechanical components on industrial machineryPerform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtimeDiagnose system malfunctions and implement effective solutions to restore functionalityWork with 480V 3-phase wiring, control systems, sensors, and automation equipmentMaintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems across various production machinesUse multimeters and diagnostic tools to assess electrical and control system performanceSupport installation and integration of new equipment and machineryRead and interpret technical schematics and equipment manualsCollaborate with other departments to support production schedules and continuous improvementMaintain compliance with safety standards, LOTO, and facility policiesQualificationsMinimum 5 years of combined electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and industrial automationProficient with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairsExperience with AC/DC drives, servos, analog/digital I/O, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipmentAbility to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematicsSolid troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or within a teamBasic computer skills for maintenance logs and documentationSpanish-speaking ability is a plusWhy Join AST?At AST, we believe in fostering a work environment where employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
