Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Compliance and Reporting Manager to ensure adherence to industry regulations and enhance the organization’s reporting capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance with standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks. Additionally, you will generate and analyze reports that provide insights into compliance activities, risk management, and operational efficiency.


This position is ideal for an analytical professional with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and experience in reporting and data analysis within regulated environments.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable laws, standards, and company policies.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement compliance reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions of regulatory filings and reports.
  • Create detailed compliance reports to support internal and external audits, and work with various departments to address any compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with legal, IT, and business teams to identify risks, ensure proper controls are in place, and implement remediation actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the organization's compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze data and generate reports on compliance performance, including risk analysis and mitigation, operational efficiency, and adherence to security and privacy standards.
  • Support incident management efforts, including documentation and reporting of non-compliance events and helping to resolve them.
  • Stay current on changes in regulations and industry trends to ensure the company remains in compliance with new standards and requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies, regulatory updates, and reporting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a compliance, audit, or reporting role, preferably in a regulated industry such as healthcare, finance, or public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy and data protection laws.
  • Proficiency in generating, analyzing, and presenting reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify potential compliance issues and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting compliance reports.
  • Experience with conducting audits and preparing for external compliance reviews.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), or similar.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or public sector.
  • Familiarity with data protection and security protocols, including encryption and access control measures.
  • Experience working with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools or platforms.
