Position Overview:

Behavioural Health Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is currently seeking two Psychiatrists to join our team:

  • An Adult Psychiatrist for an inpatient position with our PICU/Crisis Unit.
  • An Adult Psychiatrist for our inpatient detox unit.

Both positions offer a Monday-Friday work schedule with no telepsychiatry. Position duties include rounding, admissions, treatment team participation, discharge summaries, medication management, and participation in the call rotation.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily rounding on patients in the assigned unit.
  • Perform admission evaluations and develop treatment plans.
  • Actively participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences.
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries.
  • Manage medication regimens effectively.
  • Participate in the call rotation as required.


Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Psychiatry.
  • Valid Utah Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred.
