Currently partnered with a bank holding company that is looking to identify an attorney to add to their legal team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and negotiate loan documents, lease finance agreements, and commercial finance transactions
  • Review organizational documents
  • Analyze commercial credit products
  • Understand the UCC and its articles in commercial transactions
  • Draft and negotiate commitment letters
  • Coordinate outside legal counsel
  • Coordinate and schedule loan closings
  • Complete post-closing files
  • Maintain compliance with bank politics


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with federal and state law commercial transactions.
  • Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school
  • Member of the Illinois Bar
