Mountain View, United States Tempus Recruitment Full time

The Hospital:

Are you a passionate veterinarian looking for a small family practice that values client relationships, advanced technology, and a supportive team environment? A well-established and beloved practice in Mountain View, CA, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a dedicated team. This practice treats every pet as if they were their own. For over 20 years, the practice has been a trusted provider of veterinary care for the local community, with clients who have been with them for decades. The team prides itself on being a small, family-oriented practice that offers personalized care in an environment where both pets and their owners feel at home.

This practice primarily serves dogs and cats, which make up 99% of their patients, with occasional treatment of pocket pets and exotics. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of three experienced DVMs and ten dedicated support staff, including five skilled technicians and five client service representatives. The practice provides 30-minute appointments tailored to the needs of both sick and well patients, ensuring that each pet receives the attention they deserve. While the focus is on a wide range of surgeries, the practice maintains excellent relationships with local orthopedic specialists. They are also open to expanding their services based on the candidate's interests, such as acupuncture or other complementary therapies.

The hospital is equipped with the latest technology, including a brand-new ultrasound machine, digital and dental x-rays, in-house IDEXX labs, EKG, monitors, heating cages, and more. The practice is nearly paperless, using the Cornerstone electronic records system. Although they are in the process of achieving Fear Free certification, they are committed to maintaining a calm and stress-free environment for their patients.

Ideally, the practice is looking for a veterinarian with four or more years of experience, but they are open to mentoring a new graduate who is eager to learn. For new graduates, a comprehensive mentorship program is provided to help them grow their skills in a supportive environment.

This is a close-knit, family-run hospital where every voice matters. The clients and patients are like family, and the practice takes pride in building long-lasting relationships. They also invest heavily in their technology and their team, ensuring that everyone has the tools and support needed to provide the best care possible. If you are a compassionate veterinarian looking for a practice where you can make a difference, grow your career, and be part of a family, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
