Chairman - Dentistry

BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has an important opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Dentist to direct its Department of Dentistry. This Department is a leader in the dental field, providing more than 95,000 visits at six locations. The Department’s main clinical site now has 45 dental treatment rooms and includes adult, pediatric, orthodontic, and oral surgery services. The facility also features 16 adult treatment rooms; an oral and maxillofacial suite that includes seven fully equipped surgery rooms, with an expanded recovery area and dedicated nurse station; 12 orthodontic treatment areas; and 10 pediatric suites equipped with state-of-the-art child-friendly designed chairs. BronxCare’s General Practice, Pediatric Dental, and Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residencies are also nationally recognized for their outstanding dedication to serving the underserved population.

Qualified candidates must be board certified in the dentistry area and have excellent clinical, management, leadership, and communications skills, as well as the credentials to qualify for academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (BronxCare’s medical school affiliate) and a proven record of accomplishments.
