We are seeking a talented litigation associate with a background in business litigation to be proactive in managing a case load with an AV rated partner’s supervision and guidance. The position requires strong organization, research, writing, advocacy, and strategy assessment skills.


Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and oversee segments of litigation;
  • Draft litigation related documents for state and district court matters, including, pleadings, motions, memoranda, notices, and subpoenas;
  • Conduct legal research and develop strategies;
  • Take and defend depositions;
  • Assist with trial preparation;
  • Attend and represent clients at hearings; and
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney;
  • Strong background in business related litigation;
  • Experience drafting pleadings and motions in state and district courts;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams) and Adobe;
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school;
  • Active license to practice law in California; and
  • Team player with competitive spirit.


Salary commensurate with experience.
