We are searching for an Automation Technician to join our client’s growing team.


Basic Duties:

  • Designing, programming, building and commissioning control systems for new and existing manufacturing equipment
  • Process control systems, Process control Network, and the interface between the process and business systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts through programming and physical modifications to increase reliability and productivity
  • Troubleshooting control systems
  • Programming PLC’s
  • Developing electrical controls and operating procedures


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Automation/Controls Engineer
  • 5+ years of direct experience with Electrical, Instrumentation, & Control systems within a manufacturing/operations environment
  • Industrial process automation networking experience (Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with and knowledgeable in Siemens or Allen Bradley
  • Experience with and knowledgeable in Wonderware
  • Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Controls
