What You’ll Do:
• Draft condominium declarations, condominium property reports, townhome declarations, master association declarations, reciprocal easements, maintenance and operating agreements and development agreements.
• The ideal candidate is also experienced representing real estate developers with respect to real estate closings, lease agreements, and construction financing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is required, licensed in Illinois and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
• 10+ years of experience as a real estate attorney in a large law firm setting preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of representing real estate developers with respect to condominium developments.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Clear and effective writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and client management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn new software programs.
• Ability to work professionally and effectively with clients, partners, associates and support staff.
