Job Summary:

Relay Technician Seniors have a primary focus on individual projects and exercise limited judgment within the area of their existing knowledge. Projects or assignments are clearly defined and there is still a focus on development. These engineers are expected to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity under limited supervision. They must have competencies that enable them to design, operate, and maintain systems with minimum impact on existing systems. This position may also require the utilization of strong negotiation skills as well as conflict resolution skills. The primary impact of their decisions is on the project and customers.

What we Offer:

The salary range for this position is starting at $40- $80 per hour - Commensurate, depending on relevant experience, education, and qualifications. We also offer semi-annual profit-sharing bonuses based on company profits to share in the mutual success In the past, these have ranges between 3.5% - 11.5% of annual salary.

Who You Are:

  • 4-year BS Engineering Degree (ABET accredited degree)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certificate
  • 6(+) years’ experience in testing, commissioning, or P&C engineering
  • 12-18 months as a Relay Technician (I,II) or equivalent or at a level of competency to be determined by management to be suitable for level increase
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Only 50% travel required.
  • Oversee individual projects to ensure there are no issues with the project
  • Provide solutions in order to fix any problems that arise with a project
  • Work independently on individual projects to design, operate, and maintain systems
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and to complete tasks in a self-directed manner, within project timelines and budgets.
  • Use various computer programs including, but not limited to Adobe Acrobat Pro
