Process Engineer

The successful candidate will have a strong background in process improvements, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. As a manufacturing innovator, this role will reimagine production processes, spatial design, and operational protocols to unlock efficiency gains, reduce waste, and boost overall productivity.

Focus:

  • Lead efforts in process optimization and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Deploy process optimization strategies to eliminate waste, maximize productivity, and achieve seamless production workflows.
  • Develop, manage, and update technical documentation, ensuring adherence to change management (MOC) procedures.
  • Conduct research to innovate and enhance existing manufacturing practices.
  • Create, implement, and maintain safety procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Design and optimize production floor layouts for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead corrective action initiatives, perform audits, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a process engineering or related role, such as continuous improvement or quality engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in documentation management and control processes, including MOC procedures.
  • Proven track record in optimizing plant configurations and refining operational workflows to maximize productivity.
  • Strong background in corrective action reporting, auditing, and KPI development.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance regulations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred but not required.
