Walter USA in Greer, South Carolina, is looking for a Production Planner in our state-of the art air-conditioned facility.


What will I be doing?

  • Releasing and planning production orders to the shop floor in a timely manner to meet agreed production plans, commitments to our customers, an optimal WIP levels
  • Meet demand while identifying key work center bottlenecks and take the necessary actions to maintain continual product flow
  • Maintain capacities in the Capacity Planning System
  • Update expected delivery dates for orders in production
  • Manage production stock inventory to ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining sufficient stock to support demand and customer needs
  • Case management in ERP


Your Profile:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in similar role and/or experience in drill/cutting tool production
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Power BI experience preferred.
  • Understanding of basic planning principles
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong focus on detail and accuracy
  • General knowledge of drilling and cutting tool production process
  • Willingness to learn skills outside of Planning responsibilities to increase flexibility
