As a COTA at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Occupational Therapists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to patients in need of occupational therapy.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Prior experience as a COTA preferred
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, assessments, and interventions
  • Ability to assist with evaluations and the development of treatment plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Responsibilities

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting evaluations and assessments of patients' abilities and needs
  • Implement assigned components of treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' coordination, strength, and fine motor skills
  • Assist patients in using adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance their daily functioning
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
  • Monitor and document patient progress, communicating any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to promote independence and improve quality of life
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment

Benefits

Assignments Location: Lodi, CA

Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Pay Rate: $1,312.50@35hrs/weekly

Length of assignments: 13 Weeks

Hours per week: 35hrs

Stipend: Up to $800/Week

Sign on Bonus: $200 One time on 2nd or 3rd paycheck

Certificate Required: NBCOT

Housing Assistant: Provided
