We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Architect with Manufacturing Domain Experience is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions tailored specifically for manufacturing organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of both Salesforce architecture and manufacturing processes, enabling the architect to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and innovative Salesforce solutions. The architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver comprehensive Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and operational excellence within the manufacturing sector.
Professional Qualifications-
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing processes, workflows, and requirements, and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design end-to-end Salesforce architectures that integrate seamlessly with existing manufacturing systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Leverage Salesforce best practices and industry standards to architect solutions that support complex manufacturing processes, including inventory management, supply chain, production planning, and quality control.
Customization and Configuration:
- Configure Salesforce platform features, modules, and components (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud) to meet specific manufacturing use cases and requirements.
- Develop custom Salesforce applications, objects, fields, workflows, and automation to streamline manufacturing operations and enhance user productivity.
- Implement advanced features such as Lightning Web Components, Apex code, Visualforce pages, and integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM) to extend Salesforce functionality.
Integration and Data Management:
- Design and implement data integration solutions to synchronize data between Salesforce and manufacturing systems, ensuring real-time visibility and consistency across the organization.
- Configure and optimize data models, relationships, and hierarchies within Salesforce to support complex manufacturing data structures and reporting requirements.
- Implement data governance practices, including data quality, data security, and data privacy measures, to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of manufacturing data.
Performance Optimization and Scalability:
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Salesforce solutions to ensure responsiveness, reliability, and scalability for manufacturing use cases.
- Evaluate and recommend platform enhancements, add-ons, and optimizations to improve the performance and scalability of Salesforce applications within manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to assess hardware, network, and integration requirements and ensure optimal performance of Salesforce solutions.
Governance and Compliance:
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for managing Salesforce configurations, customizations, and releases within manufacturing organizations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA regulations for medical device manufacturing) and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) when designing and implementing Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to governance standards and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Engage with business stakeholders, executives, and end-users to gather requirements, provide updates, and solicit feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and IT, to align Salesforce initiatives with business goals and objectives.
- Build strong relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and Salesforce ecosystem partners to leverage expertise, resources, and best practices for manufacturing solutions.
Skills
- Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect, are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including but not limited to Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Process Builder.
- Experience with Field Service Lightning and expertise in integrating Salesforce with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Shopify).
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, and Salesforce Certified System Architect.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions, with specific experience in the manufacturing domain.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and best practices, including supply chain management, production planning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Lightning Platform, and Salesforce Einstein Analytics.
- Strong technical skills in Salesforce customization (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components), data modeling, integration (REST, SOAP, ETL), and security.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
