Marketing and Design Senior Specialist

As a Marketing and Design Senior Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our approach, crafting compelling visuals, and delivering strategic campaigns that resonate with our audience and propel our mission forward.


As a key member of the 49 team, the Marketing and Design Senior Specialist will deliver field marketing content to support the development and success of our advisors and elevate 49 Financial’s brand in the marketplace. This includes the creation of powerful visuals, compelling written content, and management of marketing campaigns to effectively communicate the value of 49’s service model, solutions, and team.


The Specialist will collaborate closely with members of our headquarters and field teams to ensure strong alignment and high levels of adoption as a key success outcome. The right candidate for this role is experienced in creating compelling content that drives engagement across various platforms and channels.


The right candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented—able to communicate effectively through design andcopy to drive results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.


What you'll do

  • Produce compelling and persuasive written content across various marketing channels, including website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, blog articles, and press releases, that will communicate 49’s message to engage our target audiences.
  • Design various creative collateral (e.g., recruiting banners, branded merchandise, social media posts, etc.) to bring concepts to life and drive front-end recruiting lead generation.
  • Expand brand footprint by increasing industry presence in thought leadership and enhancing website content and positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and our field leaders to understand campaign-specific goals and priorities and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage and monitor campaigns to identify key trends and recommend optimization techniques to drive improvement using test & learn strategies.
  • Create visually engaging and impactful sales content such as presentations, one-pagers, and brochures that align with 49 Financial’s branding while raising the creative bar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, SMEs, and leaders to identify and understand needs.


What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and consumer behavior in retail financial services.
  • Working knowledge of retail financial services products and the ability to apply that knowledge to work assignments. Preferably 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in collaborating with distribution sales organizations is preferred.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proven track record of creating compelling sales collateral that drives engagement & conversion.
  • Proficiency in design software, preferably Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Able to distill information into written and visual pieces.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms is a plus.

  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of marketing copywriting samples across different channels and formats.
  • Design portfolio of work covering an array of media (video, social, brochures, etc.)
