Location: Kankakee, IL 60916, United States (HYBRID) (First 2 weeks completely onsite)

Pay Range: $40-53.79/hour Based on YOE



Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, timely, and accurate advice on Industrial Relations queries.
  • Serve as a resource for appropriate responses to cases, investigations, mediations, and related issues.
  • Build partnerships with Regional Business, Site & HRBP Agile Squad Leads to support planning, development, and implementation of industrial relations strategies.
  • Deliver operational excellence in all assignments and projects allocated to the area of Industrial Relations.
  • Analyze insights from employee populations affiliated with employee representative committees to drive positive outcomes.
  • Lead/participate in projects focused on continuous improvement of the Industrial Relations approach.



Requirements:

  • 5+ years HR Business Partner experience in unionized manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years experience handling union arbitrations and contract negotiations.
  • 3+ years experience managing union grievances in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working directly with Unions (labor relations issues - unions, building relations with union reps, understanding union contracts and negotiations)
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with union leadership in problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
