Excitingly Kantar Media has partnered with the ANA to build a new Cross-Media Measurement panel in the United States, that will be one of the first of its kind in the world. Kantar Media are experts in understanding the changing media landscape. Our Audience Measurement teams are charged with developing new approaches to measurement and that is where the new US panel comes in. The panel has been designed to address the needs of advertisers, who want to understand and plan campaigns across digital and broadcast platforms (from TikTok to CBS to YouTube) – we’ve pulled together all our latest thinking, our most up-to-date meters, and our relationships with the online publishers such as Google and Meta, and the result is something that we believe is the future of audience measurement.

Job Details

The Quality Manager is at the heart of our quality management process and this is therefore a role that is of key importance for the service. They will have an excellent understanding of Quality Control best practice and bring that to bear on the service. The team will carry out daily analysis of overnight figures from the previous day’s viewing and investigate any anomalies; allowing us to be confident in the accuracy of the data before it is published. The team subsequently apply a more granular level of checks to homes with potential faults flagging any issues for further investigation and remedial action. User Acceptance Testing of software upgrades and new products will also be carried out by the team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage an exceptional team in a fair and transparent manner,
  • Supervise and support the Quality Control team members to ensure that they achieve personal and team objectives.
  • Provide regular feedback to the team on the status and quality of their work.
  • Monitor the productivity of the individuals and the team as a whole and recommend changes that will improve effectiveness.
  • Work within the framework of meeting or exceeding defined Service Level Agreements,
  • Ensure that the responsibilities for all routine activities are clear and expectations communicated.
  • Create User Acceptance Testing plans and test criteria.
  • Liaise with the data operations team to align on the use of test servers and subsequent timing of deployments.
  • Take ownership for the successful implementation of ad hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Take an active role in the recruitment of new starters.
  • Provide training for new starters and manage them through their probation period.
  • Participate in meetings with other contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Service and Installation team to ensure that the panel is being maintained effectively.
  • Ensure that all key/critical processes are fully documented and maintained in line with ISO 9001.
  • Explore opportunities to innovate and develop new processes to improve the effectiveness of the team.
  • Be responsible for alignment with I&D goals, working closely with the I&D committee.

Your profile and key skills we are looking for

  • Excellent attention to detail and appreciation of the need for high standards of accuracy in all routine tasks.
  • Highly numerate with analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and organizing resources to meet unexpected priorities.
  • Organized, proactive and able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience of working in a QC capacity to ensure the quality of products and/or services.
  • Fluent English essential; fluent Spanish desirable
