Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

Our BST Global ERP Platform is the technology foundation upon which BST Global serves our global Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) clients. The BST11 Platform is the technology foundation of the BST11 ERP that facilitates business process automation, including integration with third-party apps through .NET and Web APIs, as well as the ability for clients to customize and tailor application fields, languages, workflows, layouts and more using the platform IDEs.

The Senior Project Manager, though reporting to Director of the PMO, would be responsible for project planning, organization, and delivery for full life-cycle software product development and other enterprise initiatives under the guidance of the Product Director of BST Global’s Finance and Accounting Management (FAM) team.

We are seeking a candidate that is self-motivated, organized, hands-on and engaging. The candidate will be responsible for the tactical leadership, stewardship, and market adoption of the Finance Accounting Management (FAM) product portfolio, including the planning, delivery, and support of product features and capabilities, while also aligning to our four (4) BST Global PMO competencies:

Domain Knowledge:

• Experience in technical project management delivering enterprise applications.

Essential Functions:

• Developing a viable plan to deliver project initiatives with input from key senior and junior stakeholders, including but not limited to product management, software engineering and quality assurance and release management
• Identifying resources required to support all project plans (small and large) and working with the Product Director to schedule the appropriate resources
• Managing a software development initiative from approval to final release
• Adherence to Release Management process and schedules
• Developing the appropriate project tracking and status reporting mechanisms to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Communicating tasks, timelines and logistics to internal and external team members
• Scheduling prioritized software product backlog across the respective Product team, in balance with ongoing software development initiatives
• Setup and maintenance of software development projects in company project systems
• Attendance at critical implementation meetings, including workshops, testing sessions and steering committee meetings per the project plan
• Completing weekly timesheets and expense reports on a timely basis
• Completion of Project Status reporting on a timely and regular basis
• Keeping immediate Supervisor and Product Director informed of all relevant issues and concerns along with identifying potential mitigating steps
• Fostering a positive and team oriented working environment for the respective Product team
• Compliance with all Company and Group policies and procedures
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Skills & Competencies:

Need Solid to Advanced abilities for the below:

• Proven experience in delivering at least three complex distributed systems (ERP, custom-built, Business Intelligence) from requirements to production in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to develop professional and compelling collateral
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to motivate a team to perform
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high aptitude to learn
• Knowledge and experience with software development methodologies including waterfall and agile.

Education or Prior Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience (7+ years) in technical project management, specifically in delivering enterprise applications, SDKs, and APIs on the Microsoft engineering stack
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, computer science, engineering, or a related technical or accounting field
• Advanced degree and/or Microsoft certifications preferred
• Development and software delivery/implementation or in a management consulting capacity at a consulting firm
• Project management certifications, such as PMP or Agile certifications
