• We are looking for music teachers who love teaching students of all ages and who adapt well to the individual personalities and needs of their students. We also seek teachers who enjoy working in a supportive and professional music school that offers many special activities beyond just lessons.
• For this job we are including a minimum weekly payment for any new hire. Please ask us about this. 

Responsibilities:

• Giving weekly private lessons from 30 minutes to an hour long. We operate year round with four weeks off.
• Teaching a minimum of two days per week and at least five hours per day between the times of 2:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
• Keeping track of attendance and helping students prepare for recitals and special events.

Qualifications:

• A music degree or similar training in piano technique and repertoire for beginning and intermediate students.
• At least one year of experience teaching.
• A desire to help students learn and grow musically.
• The ability to communicate well with students and parents.
• The ability to adapt to different students: their personalities, their learning styles and their individual needs.
• Note: We ask our teachers to schedule rehearsal and performing activities on days/times which do not conflict with their teaching schedule. We do not use substitute teachers.
