Procore Specialist

A Procore Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the utilization of the Procore construction management software platform within our multi-state general contracting organization. The role of a Procore Specialist involves understanding the platform’s functionalities, configuring it to meet the organization’s specific needs, providing training to users both in the office and in the field, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.


Key Responsibilities:


Platform Configuration:

  • Customize Procore settings and features to align with the organization’s project management requirements
  • Set up project templates, workflows, and user permissions within the Procore platform
  • Integrate Procore with other relevant software tools used within the organization for seamless data flow

User Training and Support:

  • Conduct training sessions for project teams and stakeholders on how to effectively use Procore for various project management tasks
  • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them through best practices
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQ’s to facilitate self-service learning and knowledge retention

Process Optimization:

  • Be responsible for and enhance project management standard operating procedures that align with and support the use of Procore
  • Analyze existing project management processes and identify areas for improvement using Procore
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and maximize the platform’s capabilities
  • Implement best practices and standards for data management, documentation, and communication within Procore

System Administrator:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Procore platform, managing user accounts, permissions, and access levels
  • Stay updated on Procore updates, new features, and industry trends to ensure the platform is leveraged to its full potential
  • Perform regular audits of Procore data to maintain data integrity and security standards

Vendor Liaison:

  • Act as a liaison between the organizations and Procore support teams or third- party vendors for technical assistance, issue resolution, and system upgrades
  • Advocate for the organization’s needs and requirements within the Procore user community, providing feedback and suggestions for product enhancements


Qualifications:

  • Procore certification or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency in using and configuring the Procore platform
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, information technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of construction project management processes and terminology
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively train and support users at all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for process improvement
  • Experience in system administration, preferably with SaaS platforms, and familiarity with cloud-based technologies
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with public speaking for training purposes


Reports to: Partner/Executive Vice President

This position is a full-time, in-office role located in Lake Delton, WI.

Minimal travel may be required.
