Qualified candidates must have a Secret clearance.Oversee Configuration Management (CM) for all program artifacts, including configuration identification, change control, and status accountingImplement and manage CM plans, ensuring compliance and integrity of design baselinesConvene and support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), recording approved changes and tracking Change RequestsSupport engineering assessments and maintain accurate documentation for auditsTrack and manage data deliverables, discrepancies, and problem reportsCollaborate with program management, systems engineers, and quality managers to ensure alignment in an integrated product team environmentProvide guidance on CM plans for software, hardware, and IT systemsMaintain CM libraries and repositories, ensuring licensing, packaging, and delivery of softwareAudit IT system configurations and manage baselines, including updates and releasesPrepare for and support major reviews and audits, including design reviews and technical interchange meetingsDocument findings, action items, and resolutions from assessments and reviewsRequirements:10 years of work experience, and at least 5 years of experience supporting a DoD clientBachelor’s degree in engineeringPrior experience performing hardware and software configuration auditsMust be equipped to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labelingExperience producing release notes and CM reportsUnderstanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the CCB, and change control documentationPrior experience developing briefings for management teamsPossess an understanding of all phases of the software development life cycleAbility to enter and manipulate data in a database (i.e., Lifecycle Management Process, Microsoft Access, and SharePoint)
