Multifamily Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent specializing in ground-up multifamily construction projects, with a focus on building in the Miami, FL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Miami.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all field operations for ground-up multifamily construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews to maintain project schedules and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Monitor project progress daily, conducting regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues or delays.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards specific to the Miami area.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address project challenges and implement solutions.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans, ensuring that all workers comply with safety regulations and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and inspection records.
• Oversee material procurement, ensuring that materials are ordered, delivered, and used on time, while managing costs.
• Ensure effective communication between the project team, client, and all stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues, minimizing disruptions to project schedules, and keeping the project within budget.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure the final product meets or exceeds the project’s design specifications and standards.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Extensive experience building in the Miami area, with a strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and safety protocols.
• Ability to lead and manage diverse teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, given the Miami market.
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
