Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Yacht Broker. As a Yacht Broker, you will be responsible for managing the sales process for individual boats. This includes conducting market research, creating listings, coordinating showings, negotiating deals, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire transaction. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and effectively market their boats to potential buyers. Your goal will be to sell boats quickly and efficiently.


Qualifications

  • Experience in the boat and yachting industry
  • Knowledge of marine industry trends and market conditions
  • Strong understanding of brokerage processes and procedures
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Familiarity with boat inventory and specifications
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals
  • Ability to work independently and remotely


You must obtain a yacht sales license with the state of FL, other states may not require you obtain a license:


Associate Broker Position Overview:


  • Role Structure: As an Associate Broker, you will work under the guidance of a Primary Broker.
  • Commission Split: Industry-standard 50/50 split on all commissions earned.
  • Primary Broker Responsibilities: Your Primary Broker will handle daily sales and business development activities, providing you with direct, one-on-one interaction akin to having a personal sales manager.
  • Support Structure: This position offers an exceptional support system that is not commonly found in most brokerages.

Additional Benefits and Costs:


  • Commission Basis: Please note that this is a 100% commission-based role.
  • Administrative Fee: A minimal monthly admin fee is required for MLS software, which is provided by United.
  • Broker Coverage: Costs for business cards and signs, which you can display on yachts you are selling, are covered by the broker
