Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design engineering services following with the companies' Vision, Mission, and Core Values as well as Corporate ISO Systems View(s), and related professional standards, client requirements, and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborates with more experienced Engineering Colleagues to prepare basic plan details and outlines, cost estimates, and perform calculations in support of broader engineering activities involving the design of mechanical equipment, components, or systems.
  • Lays out full plan designs, plan details and outlines, identifies quantities of materials, cost estimates, and performs calculations for a detailed segment of a project.
  • Prepares technical specifications for review and approval.
  • Evaluates vendors’ bids and drawings to assure compliance with specifications.
  • Reviews and approves mechanical design drawings for assigned segment of project.
  • Assists with development of design guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures when directed by Practice Technical Leader.
  • Prepares technical reports such as Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Facility Conditions Assessments, and other Engineering guidance for clients.


Qualifications


  • 6 to11 Years experience in consulting engineering for buildings / HVAC systems
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit is required
  • E.I./P.E. is preferred
  • LEED AP is preferred


$80,000 to $120,000 + Quarterly bonuses
