Certified Dental Assistant

This General, Cosmetic and Family Practice is looking for a team oriented DENTAL ASSISTANT. Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour/ depending on experience

 

Days Needed:

Monday-Wednesday 7:30-5:30

Every Other Thursday 7:30-2:30/3pm

About 32 hours per week

 

About Our Practice:

Privately Owned/ 1 dentist/ 2 hygienists/ 2 dental assistants

Patient Care is our #1 Priority

Fee for service practice/ not high volume or insurance driven

Patient hours Mon-Wed 8am-5pm & Thursdays 8am-2:30pm

Westchase Area

 

Responsibilities:

Expanded Functions Required

Assist the dentist during dental procedures

Keep rooms stocked

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

Keep lab stocked and clean

Proficiency in taking x-rays and using dental imaging systems (Dexis)

Digital scanning experience (I-tero)

Invisalign Experience would be a plus

Implant Restoration experience would be a plus

Intraoral and extraoral photography experience

Explain to patients treatment plans

Order supplies as needed

Performing other duties as required to support the office/team

 

5 Years Experience Required

Team Orientated is a MUST

Dental assisting certification (EFDA) and Radiology

Proficiency in using dental software systems

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Be at the office by 7:35 and attend the 7:45 Morning Huddle

Like to talk with patients

Be able to effectively explain to patients why treatment is needed
