Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated licensed Therapist to join our group private practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychodynamic/depth oriented therapy (attachment/IFS/EFT), working with BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and Neurodivergent Populations providing trauma informed, culturally humble care.
We’re seeking professionals who:
- Have an active California professional license LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW
- Are passionate about mental healthcare and illustrate personable and warm demeanor and delivery culturally sensitive care (BIPOC/LGBTQ+/Neurodivergent Affirming)
- Interested in working remote and in person at the office in Manhattan Beach, CA (1-2 in person days/week)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are professional, organized, timely, diligent, detail-oriented
- Are comfortable treating depression, anxiety, and trauma
- Are able to diagnose and create a treatment plan accordingly
- Equipped, in providing depth oriented care (psychodynamic/attachment based/EFT) while also providing trauma informed care
- Legal and ethically competent with clients (setting appropriate professional boundaries)
- Are willing to have at least 2 clients on their caseload at a low fee (under $100)
- Are able to learn and manage multiple technological platforms
- Open to joining our team long term
- Have active professional liability insurance (preferred), and valid NPI number
Duties:
- Conduct therapy sessions using various depth oriented therapeutic techniques
- Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Diagnose and establish treatment plans to assess and support clients' mental health needs
- Engage in ongoing education to enhance treatment approaches
- Offer direct support and guidance to clients in a compassionate manner
- Participate in consultation provided to you by Nido IFT (paid)
- Manage your own schedule of clients (1-2 in person office days, others remote)
Experience:
- Lived experience or extensive therapeutic experience working with LGBTQ+/BIPOC/Neurodivergent
- Proven experience in depth therapeutic modalities
- Familiarity with anti-oppressive crisis intervention techniques when needed
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively
- Strong skills in providing direct support to individuals in need
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies when needed

Note: Our practice is a full out of pocket paid practice. We do not accept insurance, but do provide our clients with superbills. Average pay therapist takes home is $150/50 min session.
