We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients by providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech and language abilities
  • Assist patients in developing alternative methods of communication, such as sign language or augmentative communication devices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in speech language pathology through continuing education and professional development

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in speech language pathology
  • Strong knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders and treatment techniques
  • Ability to assess and diagnose speech-language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Benefits

Assignment location: MA

Length of assignment: 13weeks

Guarantee hours: 35 hours.

Work schedule: 8:00am- 4:30pm Sun - Sat

Pay rate: Very attractive (base on experience but will be discussed during the interview)

Sign-on Bonus: $200 (one time on second pay check)

Housing stipend: Housing provided by our company

License Required: MA License or compact
