End User Support Specialist

With a 27+ year track record of innovation and a reputation for discovering unique market opportunities.We are looking for an experienced End-User Support Specialist to join our client’s team in the Charleston, SC area. The support specialist will provide on-site Information Technology (IT) for their 25-person office, and will need to be in the office daily. You Want:To work for a rapidly growing industry leader in the FinTech space, where you can make an impact daily.Work for a company that truly cares about its employees, provides an opportunity for significant professional growth, and offers career stability.To be the go-to person for all things technology-related locally and have the ability to perform a wide range of support tasks daily.You Will:Hands-on, in-office support for end-user technology to ~25 staffTriage, desk-side fixes, peripheral swaps, room readiness, vendor coordination, ticket hygiene, and prompt escalation for trading-critical issuesLinux/Windows/MacOS endpoints, profiles, local apps, standard imagesPeripherals: monitors, docking stations, keyboards/mice, headsets, webcams, KVMsTrading desk ergonomics and cable management at the seatMarket-data terminals/peripherals, hardware/setup only; software/data feed issues escalated per runbookConferencing/AV meeting room readiness and daily room checksTelephone/softphones and headset configuration & swapsSecure printing/MFDs (user setup, jams, toner), badge associationJoiners/Movers/Leavers hands-on tasks: device issue/return, desk movesLocal “smart-hands” under remote guidance (racking thin clients, reseating cables, vendor escorts)Asset, spares, and consumables stock management; RMA handling/shipping/receiving for end-user gearBasic patching/reboots per schedule; enforcing endpoint encryption and MDM enrollment using standard toolsProviding remote support to users in other offices as appropriateYou Have:Three (3) or more years of IT support experience.Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations and laptops.Familiarity with user administration (setting up user accounts, changing passwords, etc.) in Active Directory.Proficiency with workstation, laptop, and related peripherals troubleshooting.Professional experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) and IT Asset Management.Basic understanding and application of Password management, MFA, Encryption, Phishing, Endpoint Security, Proxy, FirewallKnowledge of trouble ticketing software and a closed-loop process for problem resolution.
