About the Role:

A prominent general contractor in New York City, specializing in high-end luxury residential interior fit-out projects, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This company is renowned for its commitment to excellence and delivering exceptional luxury in all aspects of construction.


Position Overview:

The Project Manager will oversee luxury residential construction projects, focusing on single-family homes with a budget exceeding $10 million. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality that a luxury residential interior fit out needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of high-end residential construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and resources, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and maintain quality control.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts as they arise, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and project success.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management within the luxury residential construction industry.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects successfully.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations specific to New York City.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Project Management software and tools.
