About the Role:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will repair and maintain mechanical devices, machines, and equipment. By troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance you will ensure the successful daily operations of the plant.


Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Repairing or replacing defective parts and adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Lubricating and cleaning parts as well as troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic parts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair conveyer belts and factory machine issues.


Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. Skilled industrial mechanic with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Knowledge of single and three phase circuits, experience with 120, 208, and 480 systems. Must be trained in SQF 6.6 – Maintenance Program and Maintenance Equipment Schedule. Welding and basic fabrication skills are required. Must be able to obtain certification or Authorized in LOTO.

Pay range and compensation package:

Competitive pay ranging from $20-$26 an hour based on experience. Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for career growth and stability. Monday-Friday, 10–12-hour shifts. Medical, dental, and vision insurance, holidays, as well as a 401K plan.
