Seeking an early-career maritime professional to join a commercial team working for a premier ship owner.

You will learn the ropes from seasoned professionals and coordinate bids to transport cargo on U.S. Flag vessels. These cargoes span both commercial and military sectors and require creative solutions, often involving multimodal transportation. We're looking for someone who thrives on challenges and thinks innovatively, even in the age-old shipping industry.

What You'll Do:

  • Hunt for Opportunities: Scout and secure chartering opportunities in both military and commercial realms. Craft compelling bids that blend different transportation modes.
  • Analytics and number crunching: Calculate voyage costs for short and long-term projects. Manage our quoting system with precision and keep everyone informed.
  • Project Managment: Monitor projects closely to ensure smooth sailing from start to finish.
  • Cargo Tracking: Stay ahead by tracking cargo flows, both past and projected.

What You Need:

  • Ability to Multitask: Ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Contract: Understand terms for contracts of carriage and handling breakbulk cargoes.
  • Communications: Excellent verbal and written skills for seamless team collaboration.
  • Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for catching the smallest of details.
  • Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Maritime Business or Transportation, with at least three years in transportation preferred. But hey, if you're hungry to learn, we will take a look at you.
