Above Green is looking for a summer intern who has an interest in environmental science, computer science, and artificial intelligence primarily to support our team with the development of an internal machine learning application that will streamline the consulting process for our sustainable materials practice.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the machine learning application that we are building
- Collect the data and information that will serve as the backbone of the machine learning application
- Ensure the data is in a consistent format to optimize the machine learning process
- Attend developer meetings and participate in internal project meetings
Secondary Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the responsibilities of our materials sustainability consultants
- Develop an understanding of the process for documenting compliance with materials requirements
- Coordinate with the project team to review materials submittals for actual projects
- Attend client conference calls and participate in internal team meetings
