We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Construction Engineer with the following:


  • 8+ years’ of experience in the power/energy sector.
  • General experience of working on 345kV transmission and/or wind farm substations during design and construction phases is essential.
  • Professional Engineer status is desirable, particularly in MA and/or RI.
  • A recognized project management qualification/accreditation is desirable.
  • A recognized qualification in health and safety would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of health and safety related to High Voltage Systems requirements, as well as state and local building codes and best practice is essential.
  • Knowledge of standards/regulations applicable to design and construction of civil engineering works essential. Knowledge of specific standards/regulations associated with large scale transmission connected substations is desirable.
  • Demonstrable knowledge is required in relevant areas including: site ground conditions assessment / enabling works design / drainage / equipment foundation design / construction planning / consenting and planning considerations
