Job Requirements


  • Georgia Law License. Candidates must live in Metro Atlanta and be licensed to practice in Georgia.
  • Experienced Litigator. The ideal candidate should have two to five years of litigation experience, though more than five years is preferred. Key qualifications include experience in trying cases, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking witness statements, and conducting party and expert depositions. Experience in trial and appellate advocacy is also important. While background in insurance defense and large firms is a plus, it is not required.
  • Strong analytical writing skills. Excellent analytical writing skills are essential. Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written, is crucial in the practice of law. Attorneys must effectively convey information to clients, opposing counsel, the court, and colleagues.
  • Professional with Strong Work Ethic. Our attorneys understand that their first obligation is to do great work for our clients in a timely manner and to meet their production goals. If they do that, the hours will take care of themselves.
  • Ability to Work Autonomously with Appropriate Support and Oversight. The candidate should be comfortable handling cases from start to finish. Proven problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation-related issues.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on clients' behalf.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously.


Skills:

  • Strong research and writing abilities to analyze complex legal issues and craft persuasive arguments.
  • Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, including document management and case organization.
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Experience in legal drafting, including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
  • Ability to effectively litigate cases in court, presenting evidence and arguments persuasively.
  • Thorough understanding of legal research methods and resources.


As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will play a vital role in representing clients in various litigation matters.
