Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR compliance. This role will also oversee projects related to DEI, health/safety, benefits analysis, and policy development.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment process and implement effective strategies to attract top talent in the manufacturing sector.
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication and education for employees.
  • Address employee inquiries and issues related to benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DEI principles into HR policies and practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Oversee environment, health, and safety initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • SHRM, HRCI, or related HR certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience, exposure to the manufacturing sector preferred.
  • 5+ years of management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Availability to work 100% on-site in Hebron, OH required.
