About the Role 

 

PORT 32 is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with our accounting and operations departments to drive the strategic management of the company’s financial performance. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills to identify trends in competitive markets and deliver comprehensive financial reports to key decision-makers.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Compiles and analyzes historical financial information including variance analyses and KPI’s on a monthly and quarterly basis 
  • Own preparation of reporting deliverables for debt and equity relationships 
  • Lead annual budgeting process and general FP&A projects as assigned 
  • Forecasting, modeling, and business analysis to include strategic long-term plans 
  • Demonstrates competitive intelligence in existing markets and conducts market research in new and existing markets 
  • Supports organizational leaders in understanding their budget to actual results and works with them to manage and improve the budgeting process so that future needs are accurately reflected in both forecasts and annual budgets 
  • Coordinates research and underwriting process for future acquisitions 
  • Conducts ad hoc financial and business-related studies 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study 
  • 4 – 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role 
  • Strong financial modeling skills 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel 
  • Experience with financial research and analytics software 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge 
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions 
  • Proactive self-starter 
  • Collaborative team player
