Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Parts and Service management role at Empire Equipment Company located in Goldsboro, NC. This person will oversee the parts and service department, manage the service staff and ensure a professional working environment. The candidate must be a liaison between the customer and the vendor to resolve customer concerns and escalated service issues.


Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or 4+ years of equivalent technical experience in commercial foodservice equipment. Provide advanced customer service and troubleshooting assistance with field service technicians via phone and email. 

• Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration and ice machines. Hot side equipment experience is a plus.

• Utilize equipment service manuals, wiring diagrams, and personal experience to help diagnose and repair equipment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, the management team, and our vendor partners

• Demonstrates expertise in managing service teams and projects

• Attend and assist with ice machine service schools across east coast cities

• Motivated, dependable, committed, and a team player

• Willing to take initiative and ownership of problems to find solutions

• Able to flourish in a fast-paced, changing environment 

• Able to learn and freely navigate the company ERP software system
