Manufacturing Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project from award of contract through completion. This role is critical to delivering the competed products to the customer on time and within budget.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and coordinate with external and internal customers as point of contact for projects.
  • Coordinate and direct activities to ensure the project deliverables are met.
  • Monitor and control the project schedule and costs, proactively mitigating variances.
  • Oversee all commercial and administrative requirements related to assigned projects.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications and contract requirements.
  • Draft and issue project change orders.
  • Maintain open project status communication to the customer and internal stake holders.
  • Provide technical guidance and problem resolution.
  • Lead and oversee the design, engineering, manufacturing and installation phases of the project.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for materials purchasing.
  • Prepare and present reviews of updates related to assigned projects.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PMI or PMP preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • 7-10 years of project management experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Experience managing project costs and financials
  • Experience with Industry Standard Codes to include: ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS and OSHA)
