Job Description:

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools by performing the following duties.
  • Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery
  • Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.
  • Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
  • Studies productions schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
  • Enforces safety compliance by ensuring the proper training is given in OSHA mandated regulations such as Lock Out/Tag Out, welding safety, electrical safety, etc.; will also ensure compliance with Company safety rules and regulations and will offer training on a monthly basis on various safety topics.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties accordingly.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet productions schedules.

Requirements:

  • Experience running a Maintenance department in a manufacturing setting is required. Minimum 5 years.
  • Must have strong leadership competencies.
  • Bachelors degree is a plus.
