OVERVIEW

Abstraction Media is looking to expand our roster of talented recording engineers. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in podcasts and be confident with both video and audio elements of in-studio production.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement proper setup and breakdown of studio equipment before and after recording sessions
  • Follow all company workflow procedures and file management standards
  • Operate and manage basic camera settings and setups
  • Utilize video switchers effectively during recording sessions
  • Oversee audio recording and mixing
  • Ensure high-quality production standards for both audio and video components
  • Maintain a clean, operational recording studio


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in podcast production or similar recordings
  • Proficiency with video and audio recording equipment
  • Strong understanding of ProTools 
  • Familiar with basic camera operations and video switchers
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during recordings
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
