Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Insurance Defense Associate to handle a diverse caseload involving tort litigation and product liability matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas and be prepared to take on complex cases from inception through resolution.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, focusing on tort litigation and product liability.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
  • Stay current with developments in tort law, product liability, and related fields.
  • Provide clients with clear and strategic legal advice.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on tort litigation and product liability.
  • Strong litigation skills, including trial experience.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
