We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven E-commerce Analyst to join our team. The E-commerce Analyst will be responsible for analyzing various aspects of our online retail operations, including inventory management, key performance indicators (KPI's), and overall website performance. The ideal candidate will use data insights to provide actionable recommendations that drive business growth, improve customer experience, and optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Inventory Levels: Track and analyze inventory data, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand while minimizing overstock. Collaborate with the supply chain and purchasing teams to resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze KPI's: Regularly assess E-commerce KPI's such as conversion rates, cart abandonment, average order value, and customer acquisition costs. Provide reports and insights on trends and performance against targets.
- Data Reporting & Insights: Collect, organize, and interpret E-commerce data to create detailed reports for internal stakeholders. Present insights and actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Performance Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and suggest enhancements in pricing, product availability, and site navigation based on data analysis.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor websites and industry trends to provide suggestions on pricing, product offerings, and promotions.
- Customer Behavior Analysis: Analyze customer behavior on the website, including traffic patterns, bounce rates, and time spent on site, to recommend ways to improve user experience and increase sales.
- A/B Testing: Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of A/B tests to improve website performance and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment on E-commerce strategies and business goals.
- Inventory Forecasting: Provide data-driven recommendations for inventory forecasting to anticipate demand fluctuations, seasonal trends, and promotional impacts.
- Automation & Tools: Identify tools or processes that could automate data collection, inventory management, and reporting tasks to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or similar.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies
